Things to Look For

 

  • Machine Not Coming On

 

 

  • Machine Comes ON – But boots straight into Bios
  • Machine Comes ON – But stops on a black blank page with cursor flashing

 

  • Machine Comes ON – But stops on Launcher Page

 

  • Machine Comes ON – But stops on Quix Page
  • Machine Comes ON – But stops on Storm Page 

 

  • Disconnect the CC Talk plug located on connecter J1 of the Quixant Qxi 200 PC, then reboot the machine. If the machine boots fully into game, then one of the coin handling peripherals is dragging the CC Talk down. Plug CC Talk back into Quixant Qxi 200 PC then disconnect each peripheral and reboot
  • Machine Comes ON – But Images are swapped

 

  • If the top monitor attract mode is on the bottom screen and the games menu is on the top monitor
  • Turn off the machine, take the power out of the top monitor – this forces the image back down to the bottom monitor. Allow to boot up fully into game the turn machine off and plug top monitor back in and reboot

 

 

Fault

Things to Look For

 

  • Machine Comes ON – But one of the monitors fails to come on

 

 

  • Machine Comes ON – But E Galax Touch Screen is unresponsive

 

 

 

  • Machine Comes ON – But come up Found New Hardware  due to fitting a MT7 Touch Screen
  • Machine Pass Codes – Back Office
  • The code to gain access to the full Back Office – 000071 then OK

 

 

  • Machine Pass Codes – Change Categories (Cat C / B4)
  • The code to change between categories on a Cat C B4 machine – STORM then OK
  • Machine Pass Codes – Reset Lotteries (Cat B3A Lotto)
  • The reset the lotteries, press the reset lotteries box on the machine – STORM then OK
  • Coin Mech – Not Accepting or Poor Acceptance
  • Turn Off machine and clean inside the Coin Mech
  • Check power to Coin Mech & CC Talk Line back to J1 on the Quixant Qxi 200 PC
  • Make sure the Coin Mech is programmed to CC Talk NON DES
  • If it says Coin Mech Missing in the Back Office, turn off the machine and unplug the Note Accepter & Hopper, then reboot see if the Coin Mech now says OK and see if it now accepts coin, this means something else on the CC Talk line is pulling the Coin Mech low
  • If in the Back Office engineers page it says Coin Mech OK but still doesn’t accept or poor acceptance – faulty Coin Mech
  • Note Accepter – Not Accepting or Poor Acceptance
  • Turn Off machine and clean inside the Note Accepter
  • Check power to Note Accepter & CC Talk Line back to J1 on the Quixant Qxi 200 PC
  • Make sure the Note Accepter is programmed to CC Talk NON DES and the hopper level  is floated
  • If it says Note Accepter Missing in the Back Office, turn off the machine and unplug the Coin Mech & Hopper, then reboot see if the Note Accepter now says OK and see if it now accepts notes, this means something else on the CC Talk line is pulling the Note Accepter low.
  • If in the Back-Office engineers page it says Note Accepter OK but still does not accept or poor acceptance – faulty Note Accepter

 

Fault

Things to Look For

  • Hopper – Not Paying Out
  • Check power to Hopper & CC Talk Line back to the J1 on the Quixant Qxi 200 PC
  • Make sure the Hopper is CC Talk NON DES
  • If it says Hopper Missing in the Back Office, turn off the machine and unplug the Note Accepter & Coin Mech, then reboot see if the Hopper now says OK and see if it now pays out coins, this means something else on the CC Talk line is pulling the Hopper low
  • If in the Back-Office engineers page, it says Hopper OK but still does not pay out – faulty Hopper
  • Printer – Not Printing Out
  • Check Power to Printer
  • Check the USB Lead is plugged in securely at the printer end and the USB is going to the Quixant Qxi 200 PC 
  • Make sure the tickets are loaded and inserted into the printer the correct way
  • Make sure the Epic 950 Printer has the Firmware : U00422 and the USB Firmware PU9502-3.01
  • If choosing ticket pay out on a Cat C / B4 product, Turn the Printer on in the Back Office, and press Save Receipts
  • Game Mode – Just saying Loading
  • When in game mode and you select a game, then it just sits there saying loading – Check all doors are closed 
  • If all doors are closed make sure the door switches are making and the wires are on the correct door switch terminals
  • Also check the connections going back to J3 on the Quixant Qxi 200 PC
  • Game Mode – Coming up with an error once selecting a game
  • Check both monitors are both ON and displaying the correct images on both screens (EG Monitor 1 image not duplicated on to Monitor 2)

 

  • Game Mode – Touch Screen is Bleeping when pressed
