Quixant Qxi 6000 PC – Adjusting the Master Volume

Before attempting, please ensure that the touch screen is working accurately, and you have a USB Keyboard present.

You can alter the volume settings in the main Back Office page, but if the volume is still too loud or too low please follow these instructions

  • Open the top door and insert the USB Keyboard into one of the available USB slots - located on the Quixant Qxi 6000 PC 
  • Close the top door
  • Power on the machine
  • Allow the machine to boot up fully into game with all doors shut
  • Press Ctrl and Esc on your USB Keyboard
  • To the bottom left hand side of the screen, you will see the following options; -
    1. All Programs
    2. Computer
    3. Control Panel 
    4. Restart
  • Select Control Panel
  • Once in Control Panel select Sound tile using your touch screen
  • This will take you into the Sound page with the following options
    1. Digital Display Audio
    2. Digital Display Audio
    3. Digital Display Audio
    4. Speakers (Realtek High Definition Audio Default Device)
  • You will see that the Speaker has a green tick next to, press the screen to hi light the speakers
  • Once hi lighted, press the Properties tab on screen
  • This will bring up the Speaker Properties page, along the top of this page you will see the following Tabs
    1. General
    2. Levels
    3. Enhancements
    4. Advanced
  • By pressing the touch screen, select the Levels Tab
  • A page will now pop up with the following options
    1. Realtek HD Audio Output
    2. Microphone
    3. Line In
    4. Side
    5. Center 
  • You will need the Realtek HD Audio Output section, there will be an arrow on the sliding scale. Simply drag the arrow on the touch screen to lower or higher the volume setting, or you can use the arrow keys on your keyboard to also adjust the level
  • Now press ok on the screen, this will take you back into the Sound page with the following options
    1. Digital Display Audio
    2. Digital Display Audio
    3. Digital Display Audio
    4. Speakers (Realtek High Definition Audio Default Device)
  • Press the OK tab and this takes you back into the main Control Panel, now press the red X in the top right to close Control Panel
  • If now go into a game and check the volume level is suitable
  • Finally press Ctrl and Esc on your USB Keyboard
  • You will see the following options: 
    1. All Programs
    2. Computer
    3. Control Panel 
    4. Restart
  • Press Restart, the machine will now Shut Down and reboot
  • Open the top door and remove your USB keyboard 
  • Close top door
