Quixant QXi 6000 PC - Setting Screen Resolution to 1024 x 768 

Before attempting, please ensure that the touch screen is working accurately, and you have a USB Keyboard present.

  • Open the top door and insert the USB Keyboard into one of the available USB slots - located on the Quixant Qxi 6000 PC 
  • Close the top door
  • Power on the machine
  • Allow the machine to boot up fully into game with all doors shut
  • Press Ctrl, Alt and Delete on your USB Keyboard
  • From the list on the screen select Start Task Manager
  • Task Manager will now open and from the list on the Processes page hi light Typhoon.exe then press End Process on the bottom right of the page
  • A page will not appear asking if you want end Typhoon.exe press End Process to confirm
  • Now select Quixant.exe from the Processes Page and press End Process on the bottom right of the page
  • A page will not appear asking if you want end Quixant.exe press End Process to confirm
  • Press the red X at the top right hand of the Task Manager page to close this page
  • You should now have the Storm Games screen on both monitors
  • Press Ctrl and Esc on your keyboard the following should appear on your screen
    1. All Programs
    2. Computer
    3. Control Panel
    4. Restart
  • Select All Programs
  • Now using the keyboard arrow down to AMD Radeon Settings
  • Press the arrow right key on your keyboard to expand, the arrow down to the AMD Radeon setting with the red icon by the side
  • Press Enter on the keyboard
  • The Radeon setting screen will not appear on your bottom monitor
  • On the touch screen press the Display tab, this is in the middle towards the top of the page
  • This will now take you to the display settings
  • First you will need to adjust Display 1, if the scaling mode is set to Preserve Aspect Ratio, press the arrow down on the drop-down box

 The following options will now appear

  1. Preserve Aspect Ratio
  2. Full Panel
  3. Center
  • Select full panel
  • Now you will need to adjust the scaling mode of display 2, if the scaling mode is set to Preserve Aspect Ratio, press the arrow down on the drop-down box
  • The following options will now appear
    1. Preserve Aspect Ratio
    2. Full Panel
    3. Center
  • Select full panel
  • Now close the AMD Radeon page by pressing the X located at the top right corner of the page
  • Both monitors will now display Storm on both screens
  • Press Ctrl and Esc on your keyboard the following should appear on your screen
    1. All Programs
    2. Computer
    3. Control Panel
    4. Restart
  • Select Control Panel
  • This will now take you into the Control Panel screen
  • Next press the Display icon on the screen, this will take you into the display menu
  • Now press the Adjust Resolution, the is located on the left-hand side of the menu
  • You will now go into the screen resolution menu where it will display both monitors
  • First you will need to set up Display 1
  • Press the Resolution drop down menu and using the keyboard arrow down to the resolution of 1024 x 768 then press Enter on the keyboard
  • Now press the Apply button on the screen
  • A pop-up box will now appear asking if you Do you want to keep these display settings
  • Press Keep Changes on the screen
  • Now to set up Display 2
  • Press the Display square marked up 2 at the top of the page
  • This will now bring up the settings for Display 2
  • Press the Resolution drop down menu and using the keyboard arrow down to the resolution of 1024 x 768 then press Enter on the keyboard
  • Now press the Apply button on the screen
  • A pop-up box will now appear asking if you Do you want to keep these display settings
  • Press Keep Changes on the screen
  • Close the Change the appearance of your displays screen by press the Red X located in the top  right corner
  • This will take you back to Storm on both monitors
  • Press Ctrl and Esc on your keyboard the following should appear on your screen
    1. All Programs
    2. Computer
    3. Control Panel
    4. Restart
  • Select Restart
  • The PC will now Log Off and start to Shut Down
  • Remove USB Keyboard
