Dell 755 PC – Calibrating Elo Touch Screen

Before attempting, please ensure that you have a USB Keyboard present.

  • Open the door where the PC is seated and insert the USB Keyboard into one of the available USB slots - located on the Dell 755 PC 
  • Close the door so it is resting against the machine
  • Power on the machine
  • Allow the machine to boot up fully into game with all doors shut
  • Press Ctrl, Alt and Delete on your USB Keyboard
  • Task Manager will now open and from the list on the Processes page, using the arrow keys to scroll up and down the list, hi light Typhoon.exe then press End Process (Alt and E on the keyboard)
  • A page will not appear asking if you want end Typhoon.exe press End Process to confirm (Alt and Y on the keyboard)
  • Next you will need to close the Task Manager page, this is done press pressing the Alt and F4  keys on your keyboard
  • This will now leave the Storm splash screens on both top and bottom monitors
  • Press Ctrl and Esc on your keyboard the following should appear on your screen
    1. All Programs
    2. Control Panel
    3. Log Off
    4. Turn Off Computer
  • Select Control Panel by pressing the letter C on your keyboard
  • The Control Panel page will now appear on your bottom monitor
  • Using your arrow keys on your keyboard navigate to the Elo Touch Screens 
  • Once the Elo Touch Screens tile is hi lighted blue press Enter on the keyboard
  • This will now take you into the Elo Touch Screen Properties page
  • Once on this page you will find a large tile on the lower half of the page saying Align
  • Now press the Enter key on your keyboard, this will bring up the targets on your bottom monitor
  • Press the targets on the bottom monitor and then press the green tick to confirm.
  • If the targets go to the top monitor, please press the Esc key on your keyboard
  • This will now bring the target back down to the bottom monitor
  • Repeat the process of pressing the targets on the bottom monitor and then press the green tick to confirm.
  • The target screens will now disappear leaving you back in the Elo Touch Screen Properties page
  • Press the Red X located in the top right-hand corner of the page
  • This will close the Properties page
  • Now press the Red X in the top right-hand corner of the Control Panel page, this will now also close
  • You will now be left with the Storm screen on both monitors
  • Press Ctrl and Esc on your keyboard the following should appear on your screen
    1. All Programs
    2. Control Panel
    3. Log Off
    4. Turn Off Computer
  • Press the letter U on your keyboard, this will select the Turn Off Computer option
  • Finally press the letter R on your keyboard to Restart your PC
  • The PC will now start to shut down and reboot
  • Remove your USB keyboard
