Please find attached instructions in how to set the BNV key on a GT6000 or Neon cab fitted with a JCM Vega
Changing the BNV Key
Before attempting, please ensure that the touch screen is working accurately, and you have a USB Keyboard present.
- Open the top door and insert the USB Keyboard into one of the available USB slots - located on the Quixant Qxi 6000 PC
- Close the top door
- Power on the machine
- Allow the machine to boot up fully into game with all doors shut
- Press Ctrl Alt and Del on your Keyboard
- By pressing the screen select Task Manager
- Task Manager will now appear
- From the list scroll down to Quixant.exe32
- Press the End Process button located at the bottom right of the Task Manager page
- A pop up box will now appear
- Press End Process
- Now from the list scroll down to Typhoon.exe32
- Press the End Process button located at the bottom right of the Task Manager page
- A pop up box will now appear
- Press End Process
- Close the Task Manager page by pressing the Red X at the top right of Task Manager
- Press Ctrl and Esc on your USB Keyboard
- To the bottom left hand side of the screen, you will see the following options; -
- All Programs
- Computer
- Control Panel in the bottom left hand side of the screen
- Select Computer
- Once in Computer select OS C drive using your touch screen
- Press Enter key on your keyboard to confirm the selection
- You are now in OS C
- From the list on the right hand side of the page high light Stormkernel
- Press Enter key on your keyboard to confirm the selection
- Now that you are in the Stormkernel program scroll down until you get to Quix
- Press Quix
- Press Enter key on your keyboard to confirm the selection
- The Quix notepad will now appear
- Using the Keyboard navigate to the 4th line down which says Serial
- Go to the end of the line that says Serial and delete the current BNV Key which is 123456
- Now enter the last 6 digits from your JCM Note Acc
- Now press File located at the top left of the page
- From the list now press Save
- Close all open windows
- Press Ctrl and Esc on your USB Keyboard
- Select Restart
- Now remove the Keyboard from the PC
