Dell 755 USFF PC – Setting Screen Resolution to 1024 x 768

Before attempting, please ensure that you have a USB Keyboard present.

  • Open the top door and insert the USB Keyboard into one of the available USB slots - located on the bottom of the Dell 755 PC 
  • Close all the doors
  • Power on the machine
  • Allow the machine to boot up fully into game with all doors shut
  • Press Ctrl Alt and Del on your USB Keyboard
  • This will bring up the Task manager page
  • From the list of files running on the Processes page, arrow down to Typhoon.exe so it is hi lighted blue
  •  Now press Alt and E on your keyboard
  • A Task Manager Warning screen will now pop up, now press Alt and Y on your keyboard to confirm you want to end this process
  • Now press Alt and F on your keyboard, this will bring up New Task Run and Exit Task Manager
  • Using the arrow keys hi light New Task Run and press Enter on the keyboard
  • A pop-up box will now appear Create New Task, now type in control panel on your keyboard then press Enter to confirm
  • Press Ctrl Alt and Del on your USB Keyboard
  • This will bring up the Task manager to the front of the page, now press Alt and F4 on your keyboard to close the Task Manager page
  • You will be left with the Control Panel page on your bottom monitor
  • Using your arrow keys navigate to the Display tile so it is hi lighted blue, now press the Enter key to go into the Display Properties Page
  • WARNING DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING IN THE CURRENT TAB LABELLED THEMES
  • Press Ctrl and Tab keys on your keyboard until you reach the Settings Tabs
  • This will bring up the Settings page with Monitors 1 and 2 displayed 
  • You will notice that Monitor 1 has a blue line around the outside of the Monitor 1 tile
  • Press Alt and S on your keyboard, this will take you to the Screen Resolution slider
  • Now using your arrow key left and right select the screen resolution of 1024 x 768, now press Alt and A to apply the settings
  • A pop-up box will now appear saying Monitor Settings and asking do you want to keep these settings, press Alt and Y on the keyboard to confirm that you want to keep 
  • Now to set Monitor 2, press Alt and D on your keyboard, this will hi light the Display Box
  • Arrow down on your keyboard, this will now select Monitor 2
  • You will notice that Monitor 2 has a blue line around the outside of the Monitor 2 tile
  • Press Alt and S on your keyboard, this will take you to the Screen Resolution slider
  • Now using your arrow key left and right select the screen resolution of 1024 x 768, now press Alt and A to apply the settings
  • While on Monitor 2 setting please make sure that the box saying Extend my Windows desktop on to this monitor is Ticked
  • If this box is Unticked press Alt and E on your keyboard, this will now put a tick in the box
  • Now press Alt and A on the keyboard to apply the settings
  • Next we need to close the Display Properties screen, this is done by pressing the red X in the top right hand corner of the page if the touch screen is working but alternatively you can press Alt and F4 on the keyboard
  • This will take you back to the main Control Panel page, now press Alt and F4 on the keyboard to close
  • You will now have the Storm screen on both monitors
  • Press Ctrl and Esc on your keyboard, this will bring up the following
    1. All Programs
    2. Control Panel
    3. Log Off
    4. Turn Off
  • Press U on the keyboard to Turn Off 
  • This will now bring up a pop-up box with Turn Off Computer
  • Now press R to restart your PC
  • The PC will start to shut down, please remove your USB Keyboard
